Coach Getchell has been coaching for 14 years throughout the state of the Florida. He began his career at Gainesville High School from 2010-2014 reaching the State Finals in 2012. From there, he made stops at Deland High School from 2014-2016 and North Marion High School from 2016-2020 where he reached another State Finals game in 2018. Coach Getchell is married to his beautiful wife Alexis and will be teaching Social Studies in his fourth year at Ponte Vedra.  Coach Getchell and Alexis have one son, Jack who recently celebrated his first birthday
